Delete your OPMaps account

Applies to the app OPMaps by OurPrivacy.nu

In the app, at once

1. Open OPMaps and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Delete account at the bottom.
3. Enter your password and tap Delete my account.

The account is deleted immediately. There is no waiting period and it cannot be undone.

What is deleted

• Username, password, e‑mail address (if you gave one) and your points.
• Submissions waiting for review or rejected, together with their photos.

What stays

• Cameras that were already approved stay on the map, with their photo, but without any link to you or your account.
• Traffic reports were never linked to your account and disappear by themselves when they expire, after a few hours at most.

Would you like an approved camera or photo that you submitted removed as well? Write to us before you delete the account and we will take care of it.

Cannot get into the app?

Forgotten the password? If the account has an e‑mail address, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. You get a code and your username by e‑mail, choose a new password, and can then delete the account in the app.

Otherwise, write to [email protected] from the e‑mail address on the account and give your username, and we will delete the account for you within 30 days. If the account has no e‑mail address and you have forgotten the password, we cannot be sure the account is yours. Write anyway and we will try to find a solution.
