Terms for OPMaps

Last updated 18 September 2026

OPMaps is a free maps app from OurPrivacy.nu. By using the app you accept these terms. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.

Drive safely

Never handle the phone while you drive. Let a passenger report, or stop first. The map, routes, traffic, ferry times and congestion tax amounts can be wrong or out of date. Signs, traffic rules and the road in front of you always come before the app, and you are responsible for how you drive. Congestion tax amounts are for information. The Swedish Transport Agency's decision is what applies.

Account

You must be at least 13 to create an account. One account per person. Keep your password to yourself. You can delete the account whenever you like, see Delete account.

We may change a username that is offensive or that points to a real person. An account that breaks these terms can be suspended: it can then not log in, submit, report or vote, and its submissions waiting for review and its live traffic reports can be removed. When you try to log in you are told why. Write to [email protected] if you think it is a mistake.

Rules for cameras and photos you submit

A person reviews every submission before it is shown. We may reject or remove submissions without giving detailed reasons.

Rules for traffic reports

Accounts that break the rules can be suspended.

Report something that is wrong

Have you seen a camera, a photo or anything else in the app that is wrong, inappropriate or concerns you personally? Write to [email protected] and tell us where on the map it is. We look at it as soon as we can and remove what should not be there.

Your photos

You keep the copyright to your photos. By submitting, you give OurPrivacy.nu the right, free of charge and without time limit, to show the photo and the camera's details in OPMaps. Approved cameras stay on the map even if you delete your account, but without any link to you.

Map data and sources

Liability

OPMaps is provided as it is, without guarantees that the information is correct or that the service is always available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage that follows from using the app. Your rights as a consumer under mandatory law are not affected.

Changes and law

We may change these terms. Larger changes are announced in the app. Swedish law applies. Questions: [email protected].
