We build everyday apps that do their job without collecting you.

Who is behind it?

OurPrivacy.nu is run by Simon Ramezan in Sweden. The work is paid for with his own money, with support from his family. There are no investors, no advertisers and nobody buying data. So there is also nobody who profits from following you.

When a company is formed, it takes over. It will say so here, and in the privacy policy.

Why?

Most free apps are paid for with information about you: where you are, where you go and what you look for. We think a map, a search or turn-by-turn guidance should be usable without anyone keeping a record of you.

So we store as little as possible, explain in plain language what we store and why, and let you delete it all yourself.

How we build

• As little data as possible. An account is a username and a password; e‑mail is optional.
• Open sources instead of ad-funded services: OpenStreetMap, the Swedish Transport Administration, the Swedish Transport Agency.
• Our own server in Sweden. Searches and routes go through it, so the map services never see your phone.
• No ads, no analytics and no tracking tools from other companies.
• Open about what is not perfect, for example that traffic passes through Cloudflare today. It is in the privacy policy.

Our apps

First out is OPMaps, an everyday map that also shows where the public surveillance cameras are. More apps are on the way, all with names starting with OP.
