No. The app is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

No, not to use the map, search, find the way or see the traffic. An account is only needed to contribute: submit cameras, report traffic and vote on other people's reports.

Codes are only sent to an e‑mail address that is confirmed on the account. If you added the address when you created the account, you first need to type in the code from the confirmation e‑mail (see the next question).

Also check the spam folder. The e‑mails come from noreply@ourprivacy.se. A code works for 30 minutes, and you can ask for at most three codes an hour.

No confirmed address on the account? Write to info@ourprivacy.se with your username.

Open Profile → Edit profile and type in the code from the e‑mail we sent to the address. Cannot find the e‑mail? Tap "Send the code again". The address is only saved once the code is typed in.

Yes, under Profile → Edit profile, once every 30 days. A name can be 3–32 characters: letters (including å, ä and ö), digits and _ . -. Names that look official, such as "admin" or "support", cannot be chosen.

Open Profile and tap "Delete account". It happens at once and cannot be undone. Read what is deleted under Delete account.

Every submitted camera is reviewed by a person before it is shown on the map. You can follow it under Profile. Photos where faces or number plates can be recognised are not approved, and neither are cameras at protected sites. A rejected photo is deleted at once.

• 360° camera: a round camera that can look in every direction.
• Directional camera: the cone only shows which way the camera points, not how far it sees.
• Speed camera: the Swedish Transport Administration's fixed speed cameras.
• "From OpenStreetMap · not confirmed yet": a camera someone added to OpenStreetMap that nobody has confirmed with a photo with us yet. You can confirm it with a photo.

Tap the camera and then "Report a problem". An e‑mail to us opens with the camera's number. The rest of the map comes from OpenStreetMap, which anyone can correct at openstreetmap.org.

Under Settings → Vehicle you choose car or heavy truck, and for a car a top speed:

• 80: for anything limited to 80 km/h, such as a car with a trailer, a motorhome or a light truck. The same roads as a car, but travel times are counted at 80.
• 50 and 30: for slow vehicles such as a moped, a tractor or an A-traktor/EPA. The route keeps off motorways, where they may not drive, and no congestion tax or bridge fee is shown, since these vehicles do not pay them.

Always follow the road signs. The map can be wrong.

The app sees which charging stations the route passes and works out what they cost at the time you are expected there, in Stockholm, Gothenburg and on the toll bridges. It is an estimate: the Swedish Transport Agency decides what is actually charged. You can also choose a route without charging stations.

If you switch it on, the app sends, while you get guidance, which stretch of road you are on, your speed and roughly when. No coordinates, no login and no trip that could be followed. The beginning and end of the trip are never sent. It is off from the start, and you can switch it off at any time under Settings.

Drivers report queues, accidents, objects on the road and police checks with a couple of taps. A report is only a place, a kind and a time, with no link to your account, and it disappears when it has expired. You can only vote on reports near where you are.

To show where you are, work out routes and give guidance. The position is only used while the app is open, never in the background, and we do not store it. The only exception is the place of a camera you submit yourself.

Without an account: nothing. With an account: a username, an encrypted password, an e‑mail address if you want, and what you submit yourself. It is all in the privacy policy.
